Ever wonder where the Schwarzenegger Stallone rivalry came from? Well not only were they both action movie stars of the 80s, but Commando was released the very (blog) same year as First Blood Part 2 science fiction movies and just so happens (blog post) to have some superficial similarities. I guess we could just call it the "muscular man firing machine guns" genre at this point.
